Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect?
We have lively services, with choir and congregational singing. The preaching is mostly expository. It is common for people in our worship services to rejoice in the Lord.
Who will I meet?
You will enjoy fellowship with people who are Christ minded and centered and have a desire to help your family reach its spiritual fullness. Those from all walks of life have found a place at Greater Hope; people who have been down rough roads have been loved and accepted by a church for who they are. Even those who seem well put together have found their need for Jesus and desire for fellowship with other believers.
What can I wear?
We use the biblical word “modesty” concerning dress (1 Tim 2:9). You will find men dressed in a coat and tie, while others choose to be more casual in blue jeans. Our focus is not on the clothes people wear, but rather the needs of individuals.
What about my children?
One of Greater Hope's main goals is to reach the next generation with the gospel. On Sunday mornings our children gather together, after corporal worship, for B.L.A.S.T. On Wednesdays both of kids and teens have a ministry devoted to teaching them, this is our AWANA and W.O.R.D ministry! Our babies and toddlers also have a place during each service in our nursery.
